3. Personal Information We Collect

The Company may collect, by lawful and fair means, information including a person's name, company, department, title, address, telephone number, email address, inquiry details, contract and transaction information, recruitment application information, and information obtained through use of the Company's website, such as device information, IP address, cookies and other identifiers, and browsing history.

In performing services for clients, the Company may also receive personal information from those clients.

4. Purposes of Use

The Company uses personal information for the following purposes:

• To respond to inquiries, send requested materials, and communicate with individuals;

• To propose, provide, maintain, support, and improve the quality of the Company's IT consulting, software development, ASP, and other services;

• To execute and perform contracts, process invoices and payments, manage business partners, and complete procedures required by law;

• To provide information about seminars, services, recruitment, and other Company matters, with the individual's consent or as otherwise permitted by law;

• To conduct recruitment screening, communicate with applicants, and complete onboarding procedures;

• To administer personnel, labor, occupational health and safety, employee benefits, and former-employee records;

• To prevent unauthorized access and other misuse, maintain information security, and analyze use of the website;

• To perform outsourced services in accordance with the applicable client's contract and instructions; and

• To conduct activities incidental to the purposes listed above.

5. Restrictions on Use Beyond the Stated Purposes

The Company does not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes specified in advance. If a purpose of use is changed, the change will be limited to a scope reasonably related to the original purpose, and the revised purpose will be published or communicated to the individual. Except where permitted by law, the Company obtains the individual's prior consent before handling personal information beyond the necessary scope.

6. Provision to Third Parties

The Company does not provide personal data to a third party without the individual's consent, except as required or permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws. When providing personal data to a third party, the Company carries out the verification and recordkeeping required by law.

7. Outsourcing

The Company may outsource cloud services, business systems, delivery, recruitment support, and other operations to external service providers to the extent necessary to achieve the stated purposes of use. In such cases, the Company appropriately selects and supervises the service providers through contracts and other appropriate means.

8. Handling in Foreign Countries

When the Company provides personal data to a business operator located outside Japan or handles personal data through cloud services or other systems located outside Japan, it takes necessary and appropriate measures in accordance with applicable laws after understanding the relevant foreign legal and regulatory environment. Where the individual's consent is required, the Company provides the information prescribed by law before obtaining that consent.

9. Security Control Measures

To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal data and otherwise ensure its secure management, the Company implements organizational, personnel, physical, and technical security control measures. These include establishing handling rules, appointing responsible personnel, reviewing handling practices, educating officers and employees, controlling access to facilities, devices, and media, implementing access controls and authentication, protecting against unauthorized access, and using encryption where appropriate. When personal data is handled in a foreign country, the Company implements security measures after understanding the relevant legal and regulatory environment. Upon request, the Company will explain its security control measures, except for information that should not be disclosed under applicable law or for security reasons.

10. Response to Data Breaches and Similar Incidents

If a leakage or other incident involving personal data occurs or may have occurred, the Company investigates the facts, contains the damage, and takes measures to prevent recurrence. Where required by law, the Company reports the incident to the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan and notifies the affected individuals.

11. Requests Concerning Retained Personal Data

An individual or the individual's authorized representative may request notification of purposes of use; disclosure, including disclosure of records of provision to third parties; correction, addition, or deletion; suspension of use or erasure; or suspension of provision to third parties with respect to retained personal data held by the Company. After verifying the identity and authority of the requester, the Company responds without delay in accordance with applicable law. The Company establishes clear roles and responsibilities for information security and implements the necessary internal rules and procedures.

2. Risk Management

The Company identifies and assesses threats and vulnerabilities affecting its information assets and implements organizational, personnel, physical, and technical measures appropriate to the identified risks.

3. Compliance with Laws and Contracts

The Company complies with applicable laws and regulations concerning information security and the protection of personal information, its contractual obligations, and other applicable standards and requirements.

4. Education and Awareness

The Company provides its officers, employees, and other relevant personnel with ongoing information security education and awareness training.

5. Incident Response

Cookie Policy

1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement Policy

1. Basic Approach

Investech Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) contributes to a sustainable society through its IT consulting, software development, ASP, and IT solutions businesses. In cooperation with suppliers and business partners, the Company promotes responsible procurement that respects human rights, labor rights, occupational health and safety, the environment, fair business practices, and information security.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to the Company's procurement of goods, software, cloud services, outsourced operations, staffing and professional services, and all other purchases. The Company expects its suppliers, and where relevant their supply chains, to understand and cooperate with the principles of this Policy.

3. Respect for Human Rights

The Company respects internationally recognized human rights and does not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on race, nationality, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, belief, social status, or any other protected or personal characteristic.

4. Prohibition of Forced Labor and Child Labor

The Company does not tolerate human trafficking, forced labor, bonded labor, slave labor, or child labor prohibited by applicable law. The Company does not permit workers to be charged recruitment fees, identity documents to be improperly retained, or any other practice that unjustifiably restricts workers' freedom.

5. Working Conditions and Freedom of Association

The Company complies with applicable labor laws and ensures appropriate working hours, wages, and leave. It maintains a safe and healthy working environment and respects workers' freedom of association and right to collective bargaining in accordance with applicable law.

6. Environmental Responsibility

The Company endeavors to understand and reduce environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy and resource use, waste, chemical substances, and effects on biodiversity. In procurement decisions, the Company considers necessity, durability, reuse and recycling, energy efficiency, and other relevant environmental factors.

7. Fair Business Practices

The Company does not tolerate bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest, unfair competition, money laundering, or other misconduct. It complies with applicable competition laws, import and export controls, economic sanctions, intellectual property laws, and other applicable requirements, and conducts business fairly and transparently.

8. Information Management

The Company appropriately protects personal information, customer information, trade secrets, and intellectual property. It expects suppliers to implement information security measures appropriate to the information they handle and the associated risks, and to promptly report security incidents.

9. Human Rights Due Diligence

The Company endeavors to identify and assess actual and potential adverse human rights and environmental impacts connected with its business activities and business relationships; prevent and mitigate those impacts; monitor the effectiveness of its actions; and disclose relevant information as appropriate. If the Company is found to have caused or contributed to an adverse impact, it works toward appropriate remediation.

10. Engagement with Suppliers and Responsive Action

Depending on the level of risk, the Company may seek information from suppliers, engage in dialogue, and request improvements. Recognizing that immediately terminating a business relationship can in some cases worsen human rights conditions, the Company considers the potential for improvement and the likely impacts when deciding how to respond. Where a serious violation exists and improvement cannot reasonably be expected, the Company considers reviewing or terminating the business relationship.

11. Reporting Concerns and Protection Against Retaliation

Concerns regarding human rights, labor, the environment, or business ethics may be reported to info@investech.co.jp. The Company respects the confidentiality of persons raising concerns and does not permit disadvantageous treatment or retaliation because a person made a report or cooperated with an investigation.

12. Continual Improvement

The Company communicates this Policy to and educates its officers and employees. It continually reviews this Policy and related practices in light of applicable laws, international standards, its business activities, and dialogue with stakeholders.
